Factory labourer

Robover is currently hiring General Labourers for our Québec City plant.

In this role, you will support daily plant operations by performing a variety of production tasks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and helping ensure an efficient workflow across the facility. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in contributing to a productive team environment.

Flexible Scheduling During the Probation Period

During the probation period, candidates must be available to work any assigned shift — including day, evening, night, weekend, and statutory holiday shifts — based on production needs.

After successfully completing the probation period, employees may request shift changes as positions become available, in accordance with operational requirements and the collective agreement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support production activities, including material handling, assembly, and packaging
• Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision
• Load and unload materials and move products throughout the plant
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety standards
• Inspect products to ensure quality and report any defects or concerns
• Assist machine operators and other team members as needed
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is an asset, but not required
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, and moving for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Team-oriented with a willingness to support different departments as needed
• Basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
